Not too many artists work in glass in parallel or alongside other mediums. Glass requires a completely different set of skills and equipment. I found I had to dedicate major blocks of time and learn new techniques. All my glass works are known as kiln-fabricated work or heat bent constructions with glass rods. What I find interesting is that here too, there can be stylistic cross over with other mediums that remain faithful to hard line, geometric abstraction, especially sculpture.
