Sculpture is such a natural expression for me as an artist and architect. The idea of three-dimensional concepts often finds commonality in the cross over between the two disciplines. I think primarily in three-dimensions to begin with, no matter if the work will eventually evolve into two dimensions or three. In sculpture, the movement of light, shadow, and form are paramount as they are with architecture. Sculpture has also allowed me to use of a wide range of materiality, and I find that immensely satisfying.
